WOWBIZ Omaha Web Site Finally Debuts

Videos reflect 18 months of entrepreneurial persistence

Omaha, NE.  – Just in time for the last WOWBIZ Weekly taping of the semester at Creighton University’s Harper Center, the PointForward-Becker Web Solutions team has launched a new version of

“The Dean’s Fellows at Creighton were wondering if we would ever get it done,” said WOWBIZ Omaha founder, Lynn Hinderaker.

Hinderaker has been working on the WOWBIZ project with a select group of freshman business students since the partnership between COBA and PointForward began in the fall of 2011. They study local business news events, summarize articles, suggest guests and analyze the WOWBIZ business model in its early-stage, entrepreneurial mode.

The site is unusual in that it contains two categories of local videos; at the top of the page are videos of Hinderaker interviewing local executives on WOWBIZ Weekly, taped live at Harper Center’s Hixson-Lied Auditorium.

Below that video tier is another set of videos titled “Inside Scoop.” These videos feature local business owners sharing “insider tips and advice” about a plethora of purchasing decisions.

The site is fairly robust, including 25 pages of text explaining trust-building, content development, Generation Y and pull marketing, all of which are topics related to WOWBIZ and its video-interview emphasis.

The site even includes material about franchising the WOWBIZ revenue-building system to traditional media outlets around the country.

The site was built on a WordPress platform by Cory Becker, owner of Becker Web Solutions. Hinderaker works closely with Becker on WOWBIZ and other imaginative web site programs.
